Booking Conditions

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Your Contract is with Best of Britain Holidays Ltd

1.  YOUR TOUR CONTRACT

When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as you complete the booking. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by English Law, and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

2.  YOUR TOUR PRICE

1)   You can pay for your trip through our secure online booking system which is operated by FareHarbor.

2)   Prices displayed on our website include all fees.

3)   The full cost of the trip is payable immediately upon booking.

5)   Once booked, the price of your trip is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges.

3.  IF YOU CANCEL/CHANGE YOUR TOUR

If you need to cancel or change your tour, please advise us by email or telephone as early as possible and we will do our best to help. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

If you cancel, at least, 24 hours before your tour departs we will provide a full refund to the card used to make the booking.

We cannot provide any refund for tours cancelled less than 24 hours before the tour departs or in the event of a no-show, for whatever reason.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you report to the correct place at the correct time for the commencement of your tour and all subsequent departures within the tour and we will not provide refunds or accept responsibility for any costs you may incur as a result of failing to do so.

4.  IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR TOUR

1)   Whilst we endeavour to avoid changes, we do reserve the right to make changes to the itineraries within our tours and the type of vehicle used without notice or refunds.

2)   We also reserve the right, in any circumstances, to cancel or curtail any tour, for example due to vehicle breakdown or exceptionally inclement weather.

3)   In the event of us cancelling a tour you have booked with us, we will provide you with a full refund or a tour on an alternative date, whichever you prefer. We will not, however, accept responsibility for any consequential travel or other costs arising from the cancellation of your tour with us.

5.  TOUR ACTIVITIES

For any activity that you participate in, whether facilitated by us or arranged independently, your contract will be with the operator of the activity and not with us. We are not responsible for the provision of the activity or liable for anything that happens during the course of its provision by the operator.

6.  INSURANCE

We very strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance, which should include cover against the cost of cancellation by you and assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness. We do not arrange travel insurance and it is your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured and indemnify us against all third party claims and actions brought against us in respect of your participation in the tour

7.  BEHAVIOUR

When you book a tour with us, you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of all members of your party during your tour. We reserve the right at any time to terminate the tour of any party member(s) whose behaviour is such, in the reasonable opinion of the Tour Leader, as to cause or to be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to anyone else or damage to property. Full cancellation charges will then apply and no refund will be given. Furthermore, we shall be under no obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may incur as a result of your tour being terminated.

Our Mini-Coaches are fitted with individual seat belts for your safety and you are required to remain in your seat and wear your seat belt at all times when the vehicle is travelling. We accept no liability for injury or death or  claims arising from any accident or incident if the seat belt is not being worn correctly.

8.  TOUR INFORMATION

If any member of your party has any physical disability or medical condition requiring special attention, we will do our best to accommodate special requirements but cannot guarantee to do so. We can carry a collapsible wheelchair in the luggage compartment if required but cannot accommodate motorised wheelchairs. If special support or assistance is required this must be provided by an appropriate accompanying person and we will not be responsible if that person fails to adequately provide those services. We reserve the right to refuse access to a tour to any person who, in the reasonable opinion of the Tour Leader, is not suited to that particular tour for whatever reason and, in those circumstances, a full refund of the tour price will be provided. We may take photographs and films of you while you are a passenger on our tours and you agree that these may be used by us in brochures, on our website or in other advertising or publicity material without obtaining any further consent or payment.

9.  LUGGAGE RESTRICTIONS

Luggage on our tours is limited to one medium sized suitcase per passenger for transportation in the luggage compartment together with a small bag on the Mini-Coach for daily essentials. You are responsible for your personal belongings whilst on our tours and we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage howsoever caused.

10.  WEATHER CONDITIONS

In the event of us encountering adverse weather conditions, we will endeavour to adapt the tour to make the best of the situation we face but we cannot be held responsible for any delay, deviation or cancellation due to weather conditions and the safety and comfort of the passengers will be paramount at all times.

11.  COVID-19

You should not commence a tour with us if any of your party have COVID-19 or are displaying possible symptoms – if this results in you having to cancel at the last minute, don’t worry, we will provide a full refund in that situation.

We currently have various COVID-Secure precautions in place on our tours and all passengers must comply with these arrangements (See FAQ’s Page for details). It is currently a requirement to bring a face covering to wear whilst inside our vehicles, in accordance with the Government Guidance for Public Transport.
